The OnePlus 15 faces stiff competition from the get-go. The vivo X300 Pro, for instance, opted for the Dimensity 9500 chipset over the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, resulting in similar performance. vivo also equipped its device with more impressive camera hardware, featuring a 50MP main sensor and a 200MP sensor for its periscope lens.
However, European models of the X300 Pro come with a smaller 5,440mAh battery, compared to the 6,510mAh capacity on Chinese units. Meanwhile, OnePlus has maintained the full 7,300mAh capacity for its European model, resulting in nearly double the active use time. Despite the coupon discounts, the vivo X300 Pro remains pricier.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, another contender, has been around for a while, and its price now matches or even falls below the OnePlus 15. While it boasts a 200MP main camera, its periscope lens only has a 50MP sensor. The battery, with its 45W wired and 15W wireless charging capabilities, is less impressive, especially when compared to the vivo and OnePlus models that support faster charging.
Budget Flagships: Xiaomi 15T Pro and vivo X300
The Xiaomi 15T Pro is a more budget-friendly flagship, even when compared to the OnePlus 15. While its Dimensity 9400+ chipset may not match the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, its camera setup is a notable improvement over the 14T Pro from last year.
